In this workshop you’ll discover how to make better photos with your DSLR.
Do you want to make more beautiful photos in your holiday? Landscape, architecture and stunning portraits of your beloved ones?
Here you’ll learn the basics of photography – topics will be composition of your photo, lighting (ISO, aperture, time) and playing around with the depth of field (e.g. creating a blurry background)

Photowalk Vienna
Here we’ll have a walk with our cameras through Viennas historical centre.
We’ll take photos of Vienna’s most beautiful sights and streets and I’ll tell you exactly what to do so that you can create photos that look even more beautiful than on postcards.
Have you ever wondered why photos on postcards or in photo books always look so much nicer than your own photos? Although you were at exactly the same place? We will take a walk – with our cameras – in the first district of Vienna where I’ll show you the best spots to take photos of some of the most famous buildings in the historical centre. Not only will you be at the best spots but I will also guide you on how to compose your photo, what camera settings you should use, what you should pay attention to concerning sunlight and everything else you need to know so that your photos will look like the photos you only know from postcards and photo books. (You can use this knowledge for all the places you’ll visit in future, too, of course).
This photo walk is especially designed for “non-photographers”. It’s for the everyday tourist who simply wants to take more appealing and more beautiful photos of their trip.
We will have a walk in the historical centre of Vienna. Depending on the light and weather we will go to Karlskirche, Stephansdom, Hofburg, etc.
